IHP+Results has divided the commitments made by all partners into the Results Areas. Each Results Area has a homepage where you can find blogs, discussions, links and more - just click on the one you are interested in.  Anyone can read our content, but if you want to comment, ask a question or join the discussions, you’ll need to sign up (or sign in) to participate!

How Do the Results Areas Work?  Who Are the Results Area Leads?

We have categorised commitments, actions and results by Results Area, which allows us to work in harmony with the OECD/DAC process and to look across broad themes.  Working with the Results Area structure means we get a picture of the IHP+ process as a whole and are not limited to reporting on a narrow per-country, per-agency basis.

Starting from the commitments made in the Global and Country Compacts the Results Area Leads (Tim Shorten, James Fairfax, Hailom Banteyergu Shaun Conway, Greg Martin, and Martin Taylor) have asked a series of questions and then identified the indicators we need to track in order to answer those questions. You can find these questions set out in the relevant Results Area, so click on the relevant link above to see the discussion.

In addition, we are monitoring the implementation of commitments by identifying actions which contribute to keeping them (if these are done and are effective then the commitments will be kept).  To gather information about these actions we have asked all partners to complete a Data Collection Tool.

The Results Area Leads gather the information from the Data Collection Tool, check and provide information that is missing, and synthesise the information from the data as soon as it becomes available.  Using the information they receive they will finalise the scorecards and answer the questions you can find in the discussions for each Results Area.  The synthesised information will become part of the IHP+Results final report.
